Off we go for a tour of the school!

We were very impressed with the T.C.V's effort in renewable energy, such as this Solar powered system.

We met some of the kids for the first time, with some chocolates :)

So lets go shopping!
So we took the kids shopping in the near by village...
But. where are the shops?
Ok lets shop!
The  kids were so polite and  humble they just smiled when we asked them what they wanted...
It took some  convincing, but eventually we got them some drinks, snacks, pens and books
The shop keeper used news paper to make bags for the items, pretty clever recycling
Adding it all up
I tried to take them to the 'Game Zone' but the teacher said there wasnt enough time :(
so we quickly headed to the clothes shop

The kids were great and it was sad for the day to end.
But it felt good to visit the school and see what a great job the TCV is doing with the kids.

We also met with the President of the TCV who helped us greatly with our trip.

A great example of Tibets gratitude towards India's kindness :)

We would like to thank everyone that made the trip possible, and hope that this series of photos will inspire you
to help us help the kids.
